Rehabilitation Manager

Ella Yabbacome, Rehabilitation Manager

Ella runs the livery side of the business here at Flawborough Equine. Working closely with Proprietor and Treatment Manager – Emma Hawthorne - Ella undertakes all the ridden rehabilitation programmes, schools client’s horses and coaches riders.

Emma and Ella work closely together...each bringing their individual expertise to complement each other’s work – and produce the very best end result for each individual case.

For the first 5 years of her equestrian career, Ella worked in riding schools.  During this time she gained her NVQ level 2 & 3 and BHS AI & UKCC coaching qualifications. This early foundation gave her a great empathy for nervous riders and a love for developing the riders’ skill set.

Following this, she ran a very successful freelance business; coaching and riding for clients…and it was during this time that she met Emma Hawthorne. This sparked the beginning of “the next chapter” as the two teams collaborated.

Ella runs very popular clinics: these offer opportunities for horses and riders to develop their knowledge, skills and confidence in a supportive, safe environment. Clinics are held 2 to 3 times a month in the Lincolnshire, Leicestershire & Nottinghamshire areas.

In her spare time Ella and her super New Forest pony – Lyndhurst Soldier (aka Charlie to his friends!) - can be seen out eventing and having a great time on the hunting field!
