Flawborough Equine Hydrotherapy and Rehabilitation Centre

Set in a quiet, secure and rural setting, Flawborough Equine Hydrotherapy and rehabilitation centre offers state of the art facilities including a range of livery options, tailored to suit the individual needs of you and your horse.

Our Hydrotherapy Spa provides unsurpassed quality treatment for a wide variety of injuries and conditions, including tendon and ligament injuries, post-operative conditions, open wounds, and arthritic pains.

Superb Facilities

Your horse’s comfort is paramount at all times. Just like an exclusive hotel, your horse will want for nothing. Securely looked after in a private yard with 24 hour supervision. The internal stables themselves are large and well ventilated, with the benefit of staying cool in the summer and warm and draft free in the winter. Our facilities include a 20x60 all weather floodlit arena with show jumps,working hunter and mobile cross country fences, a five horse covered Claydon horse walker with rubber flooring. and a farriery box. Flawborough Equine has well maintained post and rail/electric fenced paddocks and can offer individual or group turnout, small paddocks are also available to enable rehabilitation of injured horses. They are swept by Belvoir Paddock Care on a regular basis. We also offer access to regular courses, lectures and on site training with accredited trainers i.e. JP Sheffield, John Lassitter, Jeanette Brakewell, Carrie Adams and Tina Trundle.To complete that luxury feeling, we have a hot and cold water wash down bay and Equine solarium, We are also able to offer a rug laundering service.

Leisure or Competition?

Horses are welcome to join us on any of our livery packages whether it be re-schooling, full livery,
our platinum package or just for holiday periods. We offer outstanding facilities at an affordable price.
While you are away on business or relaxing and soaking up the sun, you can rest assured your horse is enjoying his holiday home too.

By combining livery with some of our complementary therapies, Flawborough Equine and Hydrotherapy Centre will ensure that your horse is kept at optimum fitness to enable you both to fully enjoy your favourite sport. We provide horses with the support they need to enjoy optimal health and fulfil their potential.

Whilst our range of facilities including the Spa and Solarium are ideal for assisting the competition horse to remain at their optimum fitness, we are also pleased to cater for the leisure rider. There are miles of off road hacking to enjoy and some wonderful scenery set at the foot of the Vale of Belvoir.

  
We are situated centrally within easy access of many competition and training venues including Newark Showground, Arena UK, Sheepgate Equestrian, Burghley, Osberton, UK Chasers Newton cross country course are but a few to mention.

Personal Attention

At Flawborough Equine and Hydrotherapy Centre, there is a veterinary approved worming and vaccination programme in place. Horses also enjoy routine and this is reflected in the calm atmosphere of the yard where daily turnout, if appropriate, into one of the secure and well maintained paddocks is an essential part of the day.
There is ample parking for cars, trailers and Lorries and for your comfort there is also a client waiting area with tea and coffee facilities.

Optional Extras

Additional services available at Flawborough Equine and Hydrotherapy Centre include treatments from professional and approved practitioners in physiotherapy, sports massage, Reiki, McTimoney and Equine Body workers. Demonstrations on these methods can also be arranged for groups of ten or more.

Who Works Here?

Emma Hawthorne (Owner), Lesley Noon (Admin), Rebecca Davidson (Full time Yard manager), Sophie Morley (Full time Schooling & therapy), Hannah Tongue, Sophie Noon (part time), Fran Hammond (Part time) and Tabitha Hawthorne. All the staff are experienced horse women, who are able to offer visitors and owners expert knowledge.
