Flawborough Equine offer a variety of livery packages including, Platinum and rehabilitation and full livery. Below are some examples of our livery packages.This is a small quiet yard where we pride ourselves on the quality of care and the expertise of our staff. Rehabilitation /post operative Livery

 We are able offer general convalescent , rehabilitation and post operative care on a long or short term basis. This is particularly useful for owners who do not have the time, experience or facilities to enable their horse to have the best possible chance of a permanent and speedy recovery. We are able to cater for most injuries and health problems, however we are unable to take infectious or contagious conditions.

Horses on this type of livery require a higher level of supervision. We have staff on site 24/7 ensuring regular treatments and medications are administered at the correct intervals. We are able to maintain feeding at regular intervals, small amounts often to avoid digestive disorders. All our stables are equipped with automatic drinkers and these are metered so we can monitor the amount of water each horse is drinking.

Quite often horses become difficult to handle whilst on box rest. This can be a blow to their owner's confidence, but more seriously as the horse becomes more difficult to handle there is a danger that it could get loose and hurt himself or cause a major set back to his treatment.

We have superb purpose built accommodation for your horse. Our stables are large with rubber flooring and they are enclosed in a covered well ventilated yard.

When your horse is well enough to go out (on veterinary approval) we have a large enclosed sand pen or small individual paddocks. We have a covered rubber floored horsewalker again on veterinary approval, which we can use for walk work when your horse is ready.

Treatments and medications are carried out in accordance with veterinary advice.

Platinum livery

• Platinum livery as for full livery but including the following.
• Exercise x5 sessions as stipulated by the owner.
• Tacking up ready for you to ride and washing off.
• Competition preparation (bathing, plaiting etc.).
• Fittening as a programme.
• Clipping and trimming.
• Tack cleaning.
• Washing boots, bandages and saddle cloths.
• Professional rug cleaner.
• Lorry or trailer storage and electric hook up.

• Full livery 24/7 including bank holidays.
• Stable and grazing including Equimat rubber matting and automatic metered drinker.
• Including bedding, haylage/hay, water and hard feed (supplements extra).
• Use of horse walker, all weather arena and show jumps, lunging pen, wash box and solarium.
• Exercise (x3 per week eg. lunge, hack and school).
• Feet picked out and legs washed if muddy.
• Feeding AM & PM including late night check and hay.
• Turning out and bringing in.
• Rug changing.
• Mucking out and bedding down.
• Daily groom.
• Paddocks swept regularly by Belvoir Paddock Care.
• Liaise with Vet and farrier. Any costs incurred to be paid by the owner.
• Worming as per programme at an additional cost.
• Twice weekly tack cleaning.
