Infra-red heat is used to treat humans as well as horses, while every poultry farmer is familiar with the positive effects of infra-red warmth on newly born and growing chicks. The main benefits of infra-red for equine heat therapy are based on increasing circulation through vasodilatory response.

Solarium

The equine solarium is a system of multiple lights. It helps improve performance and condition by penetrating into the skin and muscles, increasing blood flow. This helps improve muscle elasticity and therefore decreases the risk of injury. The equine solarium can be used prior to and post exercise, this helps them gain maximum benefit and encourages cells to absorb blood sugars quickly and get rid of damaging free radicles. The solarium is also beneficial to the horse’s well being when confined to box rest and natural sunlight is restricted. We also use the solarium for drying off, coat shine, a change of scenery and the feel good factor.
